Here in Morocco there is a concept of Mahlaba, literally it means a milk shop. These are shops that offer my favorite breakfast. And when I am out of Morocco, I have a hard time finding something like it.

It’s not
fancy or anything, just good earthy food mostly to go.
It offers
these kinds of food:
- Dairy products (milk, yogurt, cheese…)
- Cold sausage (variety of types)
- Juices and smoothies.
- Fresh bread (comes twice a day or more)
- Some bakery
- Olive oil, butter, almond butter, Honey
- Canned product…
With this
materiel, no menu, you make your own combination. And that’s the beauty of this
place.
It’s everywhere in the city, centered in any busy area. you can easily find it, it's the shop with a display fridge :)
The food is
delicious; I try to go there every working day. After that I am full but not
stuffed and heavy. It’s really a healthy and balanced breakfast, I find it
better than the bakery, because it’s simple ingredients and you mix what you
want or what you feel like.In my work, I don’t really have time for lunch, but with these breakfast I don’t really panic about lunch where and when
